Life Plan

Life plan.

I believe that planning for what we want to do is the very first step to achieving it. Even without realizing it, we often plan what we want to do starting from preparing for work or big things such as weddings. Then, isn’t planning how we live our lives something even more important?

However, Benjamin Franklin once said, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail” and in any case, I am properly inspired by what he said. Therefore, I apply my plan to something big, such as a Life Plan or something even more specific, the Campus Plan. That was actually the first time I started implementing a Life Plan in my life.

In living the campus life, I divided my life into 4 phases: interests and talents in the first year, organization in the second year, volunteering in the third year, and post-campus careers in the fourth year. I did that at the time so I could understand what I really had and wanted, as well as build relationships with various people in various fields.

That is why activities in my first year were mostly filled with my interests and talents, namely the world of writing, especially poetry. My persistence to focus on what I am passionate about has led me to win several local and national poetry competitions. Besides that, I was also very happy to win a short movie competition as a scriptwriter.

As a Sophomore, I was focused on developing my organizational experience, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, communication, and any soft skill that I would get as a committee at any organization I participated in. Learning from being Staff to Person in Charge of any event is a pleasure to me. The biggest pleasure I had as a sophomore is being Executive Vice President of The National Economic and Management Olympiad, Nemo.

As with a plan in general, unexpected conditions are something that will definitely be faced, one of which is the COVID-19 pandemic. That condition not only reduced the national health condition, but also the national economy. The constant blow from the economic side made me readjust the plans that I made. Those conditions finally made me start the post-campus phase in the third year of my campus life, with the hope that the internship activities I did would not only give me experience in the world of work but also help my family's economy which was quite unstable at the time.

That is the phase that I am currently in, which starts with becoming a Content Strategist Intern at PT Sharkmind Mitra Indonesia until now being a Business Innovation Accelerator at PT Paragon Technology and Innovation. All of these things I do with one strong reason, to reach the main goal or the biggest milestone in my life plan, or let's call it a dream that I write down quantitatively.

I have an ambition of becoming a Marketing Manager at the age of 25, CEO of a National Company at the age of 32, CEO of an International Company at the age of 40, and retiring to be a Full-time Consultant at the age of 50. Being a Full-time Consultant that works for free and focuses to develop student skills and UMKM business is my biggest milestone. Also, being a Full-time Consultant at the age of 40 means I have to achieve my financial and time freedom quickly. These ambitions, I made are nothing but to make my progress faster and greater.

However, that is my Plan of Life. Should we do some collaboration that helps both of us to boost our progress?
